This campaign features a technical illustration of a power amp by Lepai. This Digital Amplifier would likely be purchased by a general electronics consumer or a musician looking for gear on a budget. The illustration will assist these endusers because they are unlikely to be familiar with the equipment and how the amp works. First I took the amp apart and drew sketches of the individual parts and created digital versions in Illustrator. I then used these pieces to construct a line drawing of the item in exploded view using an isometric grid. Finally, the illustration was used to create artwork for the user manual and mailer box along with mockups in Photoshop.
