Trailhead is a mobile app to find, book, and rate campsites throughout North America. It includes the ability to search by location, price, site amenities, and points of interest and provides a customized experience according to user preferences with added micro-interactions to increase interactivity and user understanding. After researching competitors, I created a mood board based on natural schemes and imagery reminiscent of nature and campsites. The final logo that was created uses the very recognizable image of a tent with the flap open. This logo was then imported into After Effects to create an animated logo and splash screen. Wireframing was done in XD to create the app interface which incorporated the logo and micro-interactions.
